HLS Grades 2.9.0

Access your HLS courses on the go with the HLS Grades mobile app! The application is compatible with Student, Parent, Teacher, and Admin account types.

• Parents and Students can:
  • View grades in an at-a-glance format with the "View Grades" page accessible from the bottom of the Dashboard page
  • Access past assignments and grades from previous trimesters in a list format
  • Track upcoming assignments using the calendar
  • Exchange messages with teachers
  • View and, at times, participate in class discussions
  • Access course syllabuses, users, and modules
  • View and download course files
  • Retrieve all information for past courses
• Students are able to:
  • Edit/resubmit already submitted assignments
  • Submit upcoming assignments, quizzes, and tests
  • Add comments to assignments
• Teachers have the ability to:
  • Record and modify grades for students
  • Create and edit assignments, modules, announcements, discussions, files, etc.
  • Create and edit calendar entries
  • Send messages to Parents and Students

No special features are currently available for admin accounts.

Additional features include a dark mode for enhanced night-time readability, the option to hide or display certain tabs in the Navigation Drawer to prioritize essential features, and a direct link from email notifications to specific assignments within the app.

Please note that notifications are not supported. Users should rely on emails from Canvas for this function, which can be set up by clicking on the profile button in settings. Additionally, downloading files that have already been uploaded for submission is not possible.
